I joined the horticultural industry in 2005 after a chance meeting and interview with a local Landscaping and Turf firm. I was fortunate enough to work with a small family firm and Chelsea Award Winning Adam Martin, who took me under his wing and shared with me a huge amount of experience and expertise, offering both a botanical and practical construction education in landscaping. I completed an RHS Award in Design and Horticulture and remained working with the company until 2024. I now focus mainly on planting design, assisting landscapers with the finer detail of the soft elements of design, although I still undertake whole garden repurposing designs when required to. My Modus Operandi in all works I undertake is to remain true to the garden's purpose, practicality and sustainibility for the client and garden.
